I couldn't tell if my eyes were open.

An impenetrable black surrounded me in the tunnel, hiding every detail, giving unseen flesh to my fears. There was no smell. No sound. As if the world had stopped and I was sealed away in my own private hell. Unlike blind people in stories, my other senses didn't experience a sudden awakening.

After playing around with Paint.NET a bit more, I've realized I don't really like it that much. Here's the line art I came up with in Paint. The figure is a hunchback riding a razor bird (mostly inspired by Castlevania).

After trying a bit of color I went out and downloaded the latest Open Canvas. Here's the same hunchback with some paint and color to dress him up.
